I had the pleasure to meet the street boys again, Thursday, totaling around 50 boys. This is an outreach that Saving Arms Foundation does every Thursday. They are fed a warm meal, someone gives an encouraging message, as well as, educating them on certain topics and they usually end up playing football (Soccer for those in the US).

As was last time, I was greeted by them with such curiosity; touching my skin, hands, hair and tattoos. The love I have for these boys is indescribable and I have no doubt that they are equally grateful for my presence, as many greeted me with hugs and fist bumps.

The boys were split into two groups and Fred, a team member of Saving Arms Foundation, and I talked with each individual group about bathing regularly, the dangers of using the jet fuel and that we would be providing them with a toothbrush and toothpaste today. Sadly, I don't believe any of the boys had a toothbrush, as they live on the streets, toiletry items can easily be lost or discarded.

Following the distribution of the toothbrushes, I witnessed one boy in particular that was huffing jet fuel. I told him he should stop using it and we talked about how harmful it was to him. I then witnessed him pour it onto the ground and he showed me that the bottle was empty. I gave this young man a hug and praised him for doing so. It is rare to see one of these boys so easily get rid of their bottles of jet fuel, it is like pouring an alcoholic's last shot down the drain.
At the end, the boys were all fed lunch which included beans, atapa, posho and some beef. I said my farewell to the boys and assured them that I would be returning next week. This is by far my most favorite day of the week. I look forward to being able to continue sharing Gods love and truth with them in the coming weeks.

It's so incredible to share and educate these boys about everyday life and share with them how God loves them. Big thanks to you uncle rocky
Thanks, Rocky, for living out James 1:27 in person! “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.” Praying God draws these young men to Himself so that they can know His love for them!
